Surface planning
- Assign the job of each surface: shelf impact, mandatory information, brand story, barcode, traceability, inside-lid content, and claim support.
- Reserve artwork space for buyer-owned UPC/GTIN and barcode placement before final panel hierarchy is approved.
- Keep important copy and scannable codes away from folds, tabs, locks, glue zones, hinge panels, high-wear edges, and rough print areas.
- Confirm whether inside print, bottom print, foil, spot UV, embossing, matte, or gloss changes artwork setup.
